Merry Christmas to one and all

I hope you get everything you wanted and everything you deserve with friends and family alike.

For this last window its the £60 Glenlivet with a 15 year age statement. This 15 year old expression from The Glenlivet, was matured in French Limousin Oak casks. Limousin Oak is a popular choice for maturation of Cognac.

Normally, the last window is something a bit different and special and this might be a nice whisky but its not a wow moment for me unfortunately.

Tasting Notes

Colour	Pale Yellow
Nose	Rich and Fruity. Madeira, vanilla, green apple, super glue
Palate	Cinnamon and cloves. A whisky flavoured mulled wine actually is about the best description. Woody herbaceous note as well
Finish	Tannic finish and black pepper

Its ok, its kind of Christmas-y so that is cool. This whole advent calendar has went out with a bit of fizzle rather than a bang I would say.
